In line with instructions from the national church, our Sunday Worship is not currently in the St Clare’s building, but via Zoom at noon each Sunday. If you would like to join us, please contact us.
A prayer for these times:
Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
The St Clare’s Community meets for worship every Sunday at 12.00 pm.
The service is a simple 45 minute communion service. We share bread and wine, look at the bible together and think about what God is doing in our lives. There are opportunities for everyone to participate if they want to, but nobody has to.
After the service, those who are able to stay to share a simple lunch together of bread, soup and cheese.
You are welcome to just come along, or if you prefer, you can get in touch for a chat beforehand, or pop into the shop during the week.
Below you will find details of forthcoming services at St Clare’s. Children are an important part of our community and welcome at all our services, but those marked with an * will include an activity especially suitable for our younger worshippers.

Word & Presence
This happens from time to time on a Wednesday evening, from 6.00 – 6.45 pm.
We spend just 45 minutes of time reflecting on the bible and then spending some time in quiet. All welcome. Watch this space for details of our upcoming services.
