There is a gentleness to Jesus in this picture that I love.
He’s looking straight at me, a slight smile on his face, listening to what I have to say. All his attention is focused on me. It is the face of someone who is interested in me, who loves me. He has all the time in the world for me.
Look at the image and know that Jesus is looking at you, listening to you, wanting to know what’s on your heart and mind.
What would you like to say to Jesus today?
Jesus, lover of my soul,
I bring to you this day
All that is on my heart and mind
Thank you that you are always ready to listen to me
